کیلا (Kela)
A banana is a tropical fruit grown in over 150 countries. It belongs to the genus Musa and is botanically a berry. The word "banana" comes from the Arabic word bana, meaning "finger".
Bananas grow in hanging clusters called "hands". Each hand contains 10–20 bananas. There are over 1,000 varieties worldwide, but the most common is the Cavendish.
Bananas are harvested green and ripen during transport. They turn yellow when ripe due to the breakdown of chlorophyll.
